Transparency and Mutual Understanding

USGAAdam White, Bridey Jensen and Nathan Paskett of the Understanding Same–Gender Attraction (USGA) student group from BYU lead a discussion about the importance of transparency in their interactions with the University and in their individual lives. USGA is an unofficial group of students who do not have a faculty advisor or financial backing, but who do have faculty support and legitimacy with both administrators and students. They have positively impacted BYU through encouraging on–campus discussion of issues surrounding same–sex attraction and by providing support for LGBTQ/SSA students.
